A dry programmer which offers little humor or good music, the two things it strives to achieve. O'Driscoll is a debutante who has hopes of joining the WACS but meets opposition from her grandfather. She runs away, meeting and falling head over heels in love with Beery, a shipyard worker on
leave for the weekend. The pair live it up for a while but soon return home--O'Driscoll to her granddad and Berry to the docks. The Delta Rhythm Boys deliver "All or Nothing at All" (Jack Lawrence, Arthur Altman). Other songs: "I Like to Be Loved" (Everett Carter, Milton Rosen, sung by Driscoll),
"We Build 'Em, We Sail 'Em" (Carter, Rosen, sung by The Sportsmen), "I Am, Are You?"...
