Waterfront

Set against the background of San Francisco's waterfront, where Naish, a local optometrist, heads the area's Nazi espionage ring. His power comes from secret information he keeps in his "little black book" and from his persuading other German-Americans to help the cause. He is challenged by Nazi spy Carradine, who wants the book (and the power) for himself. Typically frantic WW II propoganda directed on a shoestring by veteran helmsman Steve Sekely. Fast-paced and energetically performed by Naish and Carradine.
