The life of gypsies living in barges along the Thames is examined when one of them is asked to sit for a well-known society artist. Todd, the beautiful gypsy girl, gets a taste of a better life, to the chagrin of the artist's fiancee. Todd's life takes a turn for the worse when Todd accidentally drowns the fiancee. The movie is surprisingly realistic in many sequences, adding an appealing atmosphere to the picture. leave a comment
