Johnson is an honest, hard-working senator of the sort that only exists in the movies. When a journalist wrongly accuses him of being less honorable than he appears, Johnson prepares a slander suit. Neal comes up with the idea of writing a series of articles in favor of the job that politicians do and in the process falls in love with the senator. Filmed, in part, in Congress and at the Pentagon. leave a comment
