This strange little film is a series of antinuclear vignettes told with a sure sense of black humor and directed by some of West Germany's "New Wave" talent. One skit has a group of U.S. astronauts in one spaceship and a group of Russian cosmonauts in another, discussing the results of WW
III. Other episodes deal with nuclear fallout, contamination, and the stress put on Europe by American and Russian insistance on planting missile bases on European soil. A scattershot effort that only occasionally succeeds. (In German; English subtitles.)
