Badly handled war melodrama detailing the love lives of a corps of Army war nurses stationed in France during WW I. Montgomery plays the handsome fighter pilot but brings little freshness to the role. Page is a nurse engaged in an illicit affair with soldier Ames, who's a married man (and dies for his sins). Pitts performs her usual comedic bits, and the rest of the cast does little of interest. Based on a sensational anonymous autobiography. leave a comment
