Borrowing its title from the TV series in which Steve McQueen starred as bounty hunter Josh Randall, this film features Rutger Hauer as Nick Randall, great-grandson of McQueen's character and also a bounty hunter. His quarry is Malak Al Rahim (Gene Simmons), an Arab terrorist responsible
for a reign of terror in Los Angeles. Philmore Walker (Robert Guillaume), a CIA officer and old friend of Randall's, asks him personally to find and bring in the terrorist. This movie offers no character development, only killing machines in action. The plot is without finesse, and director Gary
Sherman's energies all go to weaponry, explosives, and destructive car chases.
