Before the epic Forrest Gump and Contact, writer-director Robert Zemeckis was actually known for charmingly modest little comedies. This is one of them: an engaging, slapstick look at the effect the Beatles had on the US when they crossed the Atlantic. The time is February 1964, and as the Fab Four are about to appear on the Ed Sullivan Show, an assortment of Beatles lovers — and a few haters — converge on the band's New York City hotel.
