Brooke Shields is simply awful in this already weak contemporary western (set in 1950) directed by and starring Peter Fonda. Fonda plays a gambler who wins young Brooke in a poker game. Suddenly stuck playing babysitter to an adolescent cowgirl, Fonda drags her with him as he searches for
gold hidden in the Grand Canyon. A gang of baddies have the same plan, which forces Fonda and Shields to play cat-and-mouse throughout the rest of the film. Pretty bad, with a brief cameo by Peter's dad Henry as a grizzled desert rat being the only point of interest (it was their only screen
appearance together).
