Walking On The Sky

From the opening shots of a suicidal man dressing for his last big moment to the gathering of friends trying to make sense of his seemingly senseless death, writer-director-star Carl T. Evans' patchy triple-threat debut owes more than a little to THE BIG CHILL, that white, upper-middle-class '80s zeitgeist favorite. And if Evans' own solipsistic characters are meant to reflect where some of us are in 2005, we're in deep trouble.
