ERRay Liotta did it last season, and so did Cynthia Nixon: When they guest-starred on ER, the entire hour revolved around their characters. Ray won an Emmy for his brilliant portrayal, and Cynthia should've been at least nominated, but wasn't. James Woods continued this tradition and was just as awesome as ALS patient Dr. Nate Lennox. I loved how the flashbacks kept going further and further back in time, so we could see the gradual deterioration of his character, but what made it even more interesting was seeing the various ER characters as they dealt with him throughout the years. Question: I was allowed to watch Walker, Texas Ranger when I was a kid because my folks thought it was a good family show. But I caught a few reruns recently, and it's the most violent show on the planet! What was CBS thinking, promoting that as a family show? Am I nuts on this?
Answer: The most violent show, Craig? I think if you caught Vic Mackey holding a bad guy's head to a stove burner on FX, or the recent gladiator sequence on HBO's Rome, you'd back off a bit on that statement. Question: With the way the Walker, Texas Ranger movie ended, it led me to believe that there would be a follow-up because Walker's wife gets shot and it ended with that. Are they going to bring it back on a regular basis?
Answer: Oddly (considering the surprising way the movie ended), there are no immediate plans for another Walker movie, according to CBS. Which doesn't mean it will never happen. But hard to imagine Chuck Norris letting the franchise end on that note ...
