Convoluted mystery starring Owens as an American woman married to British businessman Cooper. One day Owens becomes convinced she is being followed and shares her fears with her husband and his friend Leech. The three go to Owens and Cooper's home; and when Leech goes upstairs to make a phone call, a killer, Duryea, enters the house and murders Cooper.
