The Summer of Love comes to the Catskills in this sharply observed, beautifully acted story of one married woman's sexual coming of age. Diane Lane stars as a married Jewish mother of a rambunctious teenage daughter (Anna Paquin) who's spending the summer at an upstate New York resort. She lets her heart get the better of her head when she falls for a handsome traveling salesman (Viggo Mortensen) and puts her otherwise happy marriage in jeopardy.
