Walk, Don't Run

This lighthearted remake of THE MORE THE MERRIER(1943) stars Cary Grant in his last film role. Grant is Sir William Rutland, an English industrialist who is unable to find hotel accommodations on the eve of the 1964 Tokyo Olympiad. Answering an "apartment to share" notice, he persuades Christine (Samantha Eggar) to allow him to stay with her. Then, he talks her into letting Steve(Jim Hutton), an American race walker, bunk there too. Christine's priggish fiance, Julius (John Standing), a British embassy official, isn't very happy about the living arrangements.
