I Wake Up Screaming: Review

Mature is a promoter accused of the murder of an actress he represents. He hides out with Grable, the actress' sister, but is finally tracked down by police detective Cregar. The detective tells Mature that he doesn't think he's guilty although there is enough evidence to put him in "the chair." Mature escapes from jail so he can clear his name and discovers that Cregar has covered his walls with pictures of the dead girl. Cook confesses to her murder and explains how he went to Cregar who told him to keep his mouth shut because he wanted Mature to be executed. Seems Cregar had his eye on the actress and was jealous of her agent. Mature turns Cregar and Cook in and returns to Grable. Remade as VICKI. leave a comment
