DaLie, in a role based upon his own exploits as a big-game hunter, plays a man looking for jaguars in the jungles of Guatemala. When the body of one of the members of his camp is found badly mutilated, suspicion is placed on the neighboring Vicuni Indians, a primitive people who have
been known to sacrifice humans to their jungle gods. This was one of the first pictures to use the jungles of Guatemala, which are effectively captured in the color photography.
