Valley Of Fire

Autry is the mayor of a booming frontier town that is faced with a monumental crisis--there just aren't any women around. To quell the passion-frustrated rowdiness of the townsmen, Autry sends out for a wagon train of women willing to settle in the area. Too bad for Gene that villains Lauter and Hayden learn of the ladies' imminent arrival and try to hijack the shipment, planning to sell the women to a group of love-starved miners. Of course Autry and his town come to the rescue and bring the women home to their valley. Appallingly sexist, but it was 1951.
