Valley Girl: Review

Insightful, warm and downright romantic. Deborah Foreman stars as a popular girl from the San Fernando Valley who falls for a working-class punk from Hollywood (Nicolas Cage). They make a great couple, but her snooty friends don't approve. With musical appearances by The Plimsouls and Josie Cotton and a time-capsule soundtrack, Martha Coolidge's teen comedy is probably the best of the '80s teen romantic comedies.
