Stern stars as a failing college student out to get revenge on Hagman, a politically ambitious college president who sees to it that Stern's academic problems are dealt with as harshly as possible in this AIP comedy. Seeking a way to vent his anger, Stern falls in with Arkin, the leader of an underground group of Young-Republican types who are preparing for the "Ultimate Revolution" by letting leftist radicals wipe one another out, thereby paving the way for the ascendency of the New Right. Arkin suggests that Stern kill himself in public during Hagman's Senate campaign announcement. Stern agrees and is about to jump off a nearby radio tower when he is rescued by Hagman. Disgusted because his stupidity has turned his enemy into a hero, Stern decides to scandalize Hagman by seducing his wife, Collins, his daughter, Barab, and his girl friend, Pace. He succeeds in sleeping with all three women and even goes so far as to film Hagman's daughter in the nude. But Stern's real coup comes when he substitutes his homemade nudie film for THE SOUND OF MUSIC during a "Decency" rally held by Hagman. Unfortunately, these public embarrassments only strengthen Hagman's campaign because the voters begin to feel sorry for him. In the end, Hagman divorces his wife and takes up with Pace, leaving Collins and Barab to Stern. leave a comment
