Chiefly a vehicle for Judy Canova's singing, UNTAMED HEIRESS tells a muddled tale about a gold prospector, Cleveland, who once loved Canova's opera star mother. He hires a couple of private eyes to find his former sweetheart, who unknown to him has passed away, but all they can come up
with is Canova. In the meantime, Canova gets mixed up with some gangsters who help her get Cleveland out of the clutches of the malicious Sanders. All this in only 70 minutes--plus the following songs: "A Dream for Sale" (Jack Elliott, Donald Kahn), "Sugar Daddy" (Elliott), "Welcome" (all sung by
Canova).
