A surprisingly effective film, OF UNKNOWN ORIGIN pits a successful advertising executive, Bart (Peter Weller), against a super-intelligent female rat in his newly renovated Manhattan townhouse. After his wife and son go off on vacation, Weller is left home alone to do battle with the huge sewer rat that has invaded.
