Unholy Partners

An entertaining but not very substantial drama which stars Robinson as a WW I veteran who returns from France, where he covered the war, to his former job as a domestic newspaperman. His paper, however, is too conservative, so, with the financial help of gangster Arnold, Robinson starts his own hard-hitting, sensational tabloid. The control of the paper is split 50-50 between Robinson and Arnold, but before long the partners are at odds. Arnold disapproves of Robinson's tactics and begins an attempt to wrestle away control.
