The Unfinished Dance

Movies about ballet have always been risky; only a few have ever earned back what it cost to make them. This was one that didn't quite make it, although it features Danny Thomas' film debut, in which he showed immediately that he could act as well as toss off quips. O'Brian wants to be a ballerina and begins shadowing star Charisse. When she thinks that Charisse may be replaced in the ballet company by new ballerina Booth, the little O'Brian arranges an accident that incapacitates Booth to the point where she can no longer dance.
