Stage actress Helena (Viveca Lindfors) is confronted by Ferenzy (Peter Donat), a Hungarian who left her 15 years before to return to Europe, where he now runs a state-subsidized theater. Though he has brought along his current mistress, he wants to come back to Helena. Uninspired performances and a pretentiously arty presentation by director-writer Lindfors make this a very tiresome movie. leave a comment
