A blackmailer disrupts the lives of adulterous couples by bringing their relationships into the open. When a servant girl is falsely accused of having a lover, she commits suicide, which eventually leads to the murder of the blackmailer. One of eight comedies that Steno and Monicelli directed together, THE UNFAITHFULS was released in Italy in 1953 and was later dubbed into English for American distribution. leave a comment
