A flat thriller which has Rennie cast as a private eye whose client turns up dead leaving behind a trail of suspects. It clearly seems that Brook, the eldest of the victim's three stepdaughters, is the guilty one, but after trudging through clues and romance, Rennie points the finger at the real culprit.
