A waterlogged script and some equally soggy performances can't help this actioner about $2 million in missing Navy money. An answer to the mystery is stumbled upon by newsgirl-akindiver Corday, who finds the corpse of a tuna fisherman with $1,800 of the missing money. Corday realizes that something smells fishy, and it's not just the dead man's body. She informs her Navy lieutenant boy friend, Conway, and together they get to the bottom of the shady dealings. It turns out that Clanton is behind everything, and all the cash is recovered and returned. The film includes the completely forgettable tune "Daydreams" (Alexander Courage, Hal Levy). leave a comment
