In 1984, rock music sensation Prince surprised nearly everyone in the movie business with the overwhelming success of his debut film PURPLE RAIN. With UNDER THE CHERRY MOON Prince managed to obliterate those accolades. This follow-up feature takes all the narcissistic and misogynistic ideas of PURPLE RAIN and whips them into an empty-headed froth.
