The classic tale of slavery and plantations in the South is brought to the screen by veteran Hungarian director Radvanyi, who chose to film in Yogoslavia. It doesn't take a geography major to notice that Yugoslavia doesn't pass for Kentucky and that Serbians don't look like black slaves.
