Uncensored

In Nazi-occupied Belgium, a group of underground fighters revive an anti-Nazi publication, much to the chagrin of the occupying forces. Cabaret entertainer Portman is the publisher and Calvert his assistant, but their plans are short-circuited by Glenville, Portman's jealous cabaret partner, who informs on them. Portman and Calvert escape a Nazi raid, but the rest of the staff is arrested. The two are able to get out another edition, forcing the befuddled Nazis to release their prisoners. An appealing concept which doesn't deliver what it promises.
