Cortese is a dance-hall girl whose husband is killed by Simon, who then gets her again by framing her new lover. Simon consoles her until she discovers what really happened, returning to her lover only to find him with a wife that she didn't know he had. This is Italy's first Western--and it looks like it. Cortese is seen in an early role, much later appearing in Truffaut's DAY FOR NIGHT as the aging Italian actress. leave a comment
