Two

When Vietnam veteran Travis escapes from an Army discharge hospital, he kidnaps Venable and hides away with her in a secluded mountain cabin. Venable talks him into letting her go if she stays for two days, and the two develop an unusual rapport over the next 48 hours. Travis goes to town to get some food and robs a bank as well. This robbery upsets the relationship that he's built with the girl, and she forces Travis to return the stolen money. Of course, this leads to tragedy and Venable is left alone, a bit wiser and emotionally drained from the ordeal. This independent film, like many of its kind, is a work of mixed artistic results.
