Two In A Crowd

1936, Movie, NR, 82 mins

Racing man McCrea is too broke to feed his horse when all appears to be solved by his finding half of a $1,000 bill. He is able to cash it in but the bill turns out to be loot from a bank robbery. The robbers come and hold him hostage but all works out and the horse wins the big race as well. This is an overlong comedy which suffers from a bad script as well. The scattered funny moments are tediously stretched out by the slow pace of the direction. The story had potential for some minor laughs but with this treatment it never has a chance. Acting is strictly conventional.
