This is considered by most film historians to be the last series B western ever released by a studio. By this time television had taken over the form completely, producing--week after week--the same format that once ruled the silver screen. Appropriately, the story is routine stuff about ranchers and outlaws, with some romance tossed in as well. Morris is an ex-convict who is mistaken for a new sheriff, come to clean up the town of bad men. Barcroft is an evil rancher who's causing trouble for everyone in the area and Garland is his daughter, the love interest of Morris.
