This combination western-gangster plot finds Rogers in the role of a U.S. marshal on the trail of some counterfeiters. The gang kidnaps a reformed ex-outlaw to help with their scheme. Of course, Rogers saves the day with the usual amount of heroics and music. Some minor suspense moments come in the form of a mountain lion hunt subplot. Rodriguez plays a Cuban singer.
