This combination western-gangster plot finds Rogers in the role of a U.S. marshal on the trail of some counterfeiters. The gang kidnaps a reformed ex-outlaw to help with their scheme. Of course, Rogers saves the day with the usual amount of heroics and music. Some minor suspense moments
come in the form of a mountain lion hunt subplot. Rodriguez plays a Cuban singer. A typical outing for Rogers, although the sets don't look so good under the Trucolor process. Songs: "It's One Wonderful Day," "Rootin', Tootin' Cowboy," "Pancho's Rancho."
