Tugboat Annie Sails Again

Released seven years after TUGBOAT ANNIE, this sequel tries awfully hard but never captures the charm of the original. Rambeau plays the title role, this time as a widow. She runs a tugboat in the Northwest in competition with Hale. Her company needs $25,000, which she gets without much trouble. When another skipper takes over the tug for a trip to Alaska, Rambeau goes along for the ride and proves to be more than a passenger when they run into trouble.
