The Whole Truth: Review

Movie producer Granger is bored in his marriage to Reed. He has an affair with Canale, a temperamental actress, but decides he prefers Reed's company. After he dumps Canale, detective tells him that the star has been stabbed, and all clues point toward Granger as the killer. When he meets Canale, quite alive in a chalet, he discovers that the detective assigned to the murder case ia her cuckolded husband, Sanders. The actress is then really murdered, and this time Granger is arrested. But Reed, loyal to the end, proves Sanders is the killer, and he is killed while fleeing in his car. Well acted and briskly directed. Canale, who has the film's smallest role, proves to be its most intriguing player. leave a comment
