Where The Truth Lies: Review

Bory is a veterinarian who falls in love with former African explorer Greco when he calls on her sickly cheetah. She wants him to return with her to Africa, but he refuses to leave his wife, Pulver. Pulver soon becomes the victim of a succession of strange accidents, and Bory blames Greco, who has more than a passing interest in voodoo. In order to save his wife from falling under any more of Greco's curses, he agrees to accompany Greco to Africa. While driving through the Dark Continent, Greco gets swept away by a flood. Bory has a chance to save her but opts to let her drown. Pulver later confesses that she staged the accidents Bory interpreted as voodoo. Stricken with guilt, Bory offers himself up to the police. A standard suspense film that suffers from uninspired direction. leave a comment
