Canova is a high wire circus performer who wants to be closer to Colonna, her soldier boy friend. She's chased by gangsters, which is all the excuse she needs to don men's garb and join the armed forces. From there the comedy is entirely predictable with all the jokes hinging on when her
ruse will be discovered. At the end, the camp puts on a show, and the gangsters finally catch up with Canova, but fortunately the cops arrive in the nick of time. Despite the obvious handling of the idea, this is a smooth presentation that generates a few laughs, and Canova gives it her best.
