The adventures of a French country girl-turned-entrepreneur are chronicled in this, Joseph Losey's penultimate film (STEAMING [1985] was his last). Isabelle Huppert stars as Frederique, who, as the film opens, works on her father's trout farm and exploits her male coworkers' lust, on a look-but-don't-touch basis, for money.
