For over 70 years, this sparkling comedy has been unmatched in the realm of sophisticated, continental farce. Made before the Production Code clampdown of 1934, this Ernst Lubitsch masterpiece about two jewel thieves (Herbert Marshall and Miriam Hopkins) who attempt to bilk a merry widow (Kay Francis) shows his talent for sly sexual innuendo at its most witty and polished.
