The effects look a little dated now, but this intelligent Disney kids' adventure, originally released in an attempt to cash in on the video game craze, was the first on-screen attempt to represent what would later become known as "cyberspace." Jeff Bridges stars as a computer-game designer who is accidentally transported into the imaginatively conceived digital world inside the computer, where he does battle with electronic bad guys.
