Trippin'

Swirl together a pious message movie, a silly high-school yuck-fest and a raunchy, booty-shaking comedy, and this picture is the infelicitous result. Slacker G (Deon Richmond) is dying to get with studious beauty Cinny (Maria Campbell), but she's focused on her college plans. G is so smitten that he starts churning out college applications in hopes of impressing her, which delights his parents but gives his homies Fish (Guy Torry) and June (Donald Adeosun Faison) endless opportunities to mock him. And then there's the pressure of the prom: Class joker Fish can't get a date, lothario June has too many and G is competing with Cinny's stuck-up, college-bound boyfriend....
