Boring crime film featuring Lyon as an insurance investigator going under cover as a gangster to get evidence to convict a jewel thief. While part of the gang, he is double-crossed and his passport is stolen by his fellow thugs. Trying to get to the US, he dons a disguise again, this time as a member of a ship's crew.
