Everything was thrown into this musical set on a transatlantic ocean liner: drama, comedy, satire, thrills. The characters involved are an ex-convict, a cheating wife who doesn't know that her husband is also on the ship, a crook, and two petty gamblers. All cross paths along the way, which provides chuckles galore. Plenty of big names and zany incidents. Songs incude: "It Was Sweet of You" (Sidney Clare, Richard A. Whiting, sung by Frank Parker), "Rock and Roll" (Whiting, Parker, performed by The Boswell Sisters, Jean Sargent), "Moon over Monte Carlo," "Oh Leo, It's Love" (Whiting, Parker), "If I Had a Million Dollars" (Johnny Mercer, Matt Malneck, sung by The Boswell Sisters). leave a comment
