Much too slow for a typical Maynard western, this film finds him playing a nice guy who is mistakenly identified as bad guy Blackie, a known gunslinger. The good-hearted Maynard is anything but a quick-draw troublemaker, but he does get into some fights (guns and fists, the standard fare)
by saving the ranch and cattle herd owned by Andre, who has no parents to look after her. Clearly, not one of Maynard's better films and best forgotten.
