Boyd, Ellison, and sidekick Hayes battle an unscrupulous cattle combine that wants to stop a cattle drive before it can reach the drought-stricken North. Good laughs are provided when Ellison attempts to sing. Note the presence of Al "Fuzzy" St. John as one of the bad guys before he specialized in comic-sidekick roles.
