The Whole Town's Talking: Review
One of the most underrated of
John Ford
's early films. It's a marvelous gangster film slyly told in a comic vein, and sporting a superb dual-role performance from
Edward G. Robinson
as a timid clerk who's mistaken for a notorious gangster.
Jean Arthur
stars as the lovely coworker whom Robinson loves from afar.
