A pallid remake of the 1939 classic that paired Basil Rathbone and Boris Karloff. Price, who had been drowned by Karloff in a wine vat in the first version, now stars as the man who will stop at nothing to ascend to the English throne in the 15th century. He likes to torture all of his victims and grows more insane with each murder. He kills a woman who is in charge of watching over the king's sons.
