Morris and Foster are loggers, and Foster inherits a lumber camp. This helps him lure Buckley into marriage because now she thinks he is rich. However, the camp is plagued by troubles. A corporation makes an attempt to buy him out, and Foster mulls over the offer because of his wife's nagging about having to live in the woods and attempts by Bishop, his foreman secretly in the employ of the corporation, to sabotage the camp.
